Brett and Brett to be Honoured at the CCMAs in September
The 2026 Gary Slaight Humanitarian Award will be awarded to Brett Kissel and W. Brett Wilson (known under their joint philanthropic banner "BrettBrett") during the Canadian Country Music Association's Country Music Week in Saskatoon in mid September.

"Nash the Slash Rises Again!" Film Screening on March 13th
Another music documentary supported by the Hot Docs - Slaight Family Fund made its public premiere this month. Tim Kowalski and Kevan Byrne's film "Nash The Slash Rises Again!" was screened, appropriately enough, on Friday the 13th at Toronto's Bloor Cinema to an enthusiastic crowd of music fans.
