Slaight Music Video Showcase 2026 at KCFF
2026 marks the fourth year that we've supported the Kingston Canadian Film Festival's music video program in which regional musicians are paired with local film crews to produce a completed music video. This year, over 100 artists submitted songs, and 10 were eventually selected to move to the production phase. On Saturday night, more than 500 people jammed in to Kingston's Grand Theatre to watch and hear the results.
The evening's audience prize went to Cantabile Choir's "You Will Be Found", an extraordinarily moving and emotional piece performed by the Cantabile Choirs Youth Singers, conducted by Geoffrey Sirett and directed by Allen Bergeron.
The jury prize went to hometown favourites Tiny Horse for their song "Disco", directed by Soren Gregersen + Ciara Roberts. More info about the program can be found here.
